Festive stories & Songs
Join us at your local library for a fun session of
festive stories, songs and more. Recommended for
3-7 year olds. This event is free and caregivers are
essential. Wear something festive and bring along
your torch for a festive treasure hunt.

Summer hours on Saturdays
at Selwyn's Libraries.
From Saturday, December 1st, Darfield, Leeston,
Lincoln and Rolleston Libraries will be open on
Saturdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm to better suit
summer's early risers.
Late Night at Lincoln
Lincoln Library is starting a late night! It will be will
open for borrowing until 7pm (council payments
only till 5pm) on Thursday evenings.
Sport New Zealand
Sport New Zealand
funds are available for
Selwyn sports teams who
need to travel to local
competitions and are
comprised of members
aged 5--19 years (school
competitions in school
time are not eligible).
This round of funding is for summer sports only.

Dunsandel Historic Society
Town of Selwyn -- Oldest town in Ellesmere

The Selwyn Dog Training Club will use the
Rolleston Dog Park for a dog obedience
competition on the 24th of November
from approximately 7.30am to 5pm. The
park will be closed for off-lead dog exercise
during these times. The Club is happy for
people to come and watch the competition,
but spectators with dogs are asked to keep
them on a lead and well away from the
