As seen on TV3's Campbell Live
programme, Dave Upfold is known
for his energetic, engaging and
enthralling live show involving
audience participation and utilising
the power of the mind. With no two
shows ever being the same, Upfold
has been entertaining audiences
around the globe with his live
hypnosis comedy show for more
than 16 successful years.
On stage, together with his
subjects (all volunteers from the
audience), he will keep the audience
in fits of laughter for hours and have
them talking about the event for
years to come.
Part of Upfold's success actually
stems from his generosity, having
personally raised over $1 million for
various charitable causes. He
donates a portion of each ticket sale
to charity, which then directly helps
the local communities in which he
performs. His hypnosis shows have
raised money for many schools and
other fundraising organisations.

Lincoln's celebration of diversity returns
Lincoln diversity: The sixth Lincoln Multicultural Festival came to town in 2009.
The Lincoln Multicultural Festival is
back. This event could not be run
since 2009 because of disruption
due to the earthquakes and
aftershocks. It was felt important by
many to resume this event, to help
return some normalcy in the
community for its wellbeing.
The Rotary Club of Lincoln is
organising the seventh Lincoln
Multicultural Festival to showcase
art, craftwork, music, dance, and
food from diverse nationalities.
There has been a significant increase
in participation and crowd
attendance since the inaugural
event held in 2004. Every year this
has been supported by:
Selwyn District Council
Lincoln & District Community Care
The Lincoln Community Centre
The Lincoln Business Association
The Lincoln Community
New Zealand Human Rights
Christchurch Multicultural Council.
What a great opportunity for
Lincoln, Christchurch and
Canterbury at large to enjoy the arts,
crafts, music and food that many of
those cultures now offer us.
Come and enjoy the Lincoln
Multicultural Festival, as it will be
sure to be every bit as popular
spectacle as it was before shaky
